Last year in September 2020, my incredible husband proposed to me and I said ‘yes’!
After some back and forth, we decided to get married in 2021, despite the Covid situation. Getting married abroad has always been a dream of ours, but we never thought it would come true.

Our country of choice, Greece, was quickly found. We associate a lot with Greece, love the people, the food and of course the stunning beaches.

Even as a professional event planner myself, I quickly reached my limits when planning our wedding on Crete. From my point of view, this is not possible from Germany, especially if you are not allowed to travel due to a pandemic.

After speaking to various wedding planners in Crete, we came across Maggie from Gamos Crete Weddings & Events. From the very first video call we were blown away by her enchanting manner. The other planners we spoke to before all assured us that our wishes and budget do not match and that we will have to cut back. Maggie was so positive. She was motivating and made us feel that she knew exactly what we wanted and that there was a way to make it happen. After the call we were sure: “She is the right one!”

We have not regretted the decision for a minute. Maggie was always there for us, gave us great advice in all areas and also brought in her own ideas. We had a quite specific vision of our wedding and together with Maggie, we found a way to fulfill all our wishes.

So, what can we say in conclusion? “WOW! This was a movie wedding! You met and exceeded our expectations to the fullest. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your excellent planning and realization of our wedding.

Your positive, cheerful manner and your professional appearance, especially in these difficult Corona times, convinced us immediately.

Without you we would never have found this breathtaking Villa. The DJ rocked, The Celebrant gave a wonderful ceremony for us and our loved ones and the Catering provided an authentic delicious meal. The florist blew us away with her creations, the bar mixed great cocktails and our wonderful Photography couple HannaMonika captured all the memories beautifully.
